AN EVENING OF ANIMAL MAGIC
This 9 minute film documents the sights and spirit of an evening presented at Hull's FRUIT venue by HULL photographic artist ANNA BEAN. Anna's night of artistic entertainment was offered as part of the POT LUCK segment of the opening week of celebrations created to promote HULL being the 2017 UK City of Culture. The evening consisted of live music, cabaret, and activities aimed at encouraging the audience to participate in the evening rather than being passive observers. Anna's photography is renowned for presenting magical and colourful surreal worlds and her central idea was to create an environment within the venue that gave the impression that the audience were walking into one of her creative images.
