THE 2016 HUMBER STREET SESH: A Short Film.
For the past fourteen years MARK PAGE has offered a FREE night of music to the people of HULL. The Tuesday night SESH has become a key cultural platform for musicians to share and nurture their work in front of an appreciative and enthusiastic audience. In 2012 THE HUMBER STREET SESH was created. Initially this was a one day event created to celebrate the 10th Birthday of the Tuesday Sesh. The one day event has proved so successful that it is now one of the key cultural events of the summer in the city of HULL. This is a UNIQUE festival as over 30 000 people enjoy being entertained by the musicians and artists active within their own city. IT IS A CELEBRATION of the creativity that is evolving within the city of HULL. This film includes interviews with Mark Page and some of the musicians and journalists responsible for generating such a thriving creative culture in the city. The film also includes LIVE FOOTAGE from the 2016 Humber Street Sesh.
